Job Description :

POSITION SUMMARY:

Are you passionate to define and drive the future of telecom product management? Reporting into the Wireless Product Manager, the Wireless Product Catalog Administrator will call on their expertise in telecommunications and catalog management to master data management, data governance, and data quality control to effectively manage and drive the design of the data elements and operations of a complex product catalog. This includes translating business strategic goals into future-state wireless products supported by state-of-the-art engineering and technology systems. The role encompasses delivery from strategy to execution, roadmaps to implementation, and production operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead wireless product catalog design, development, implementation and operations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth flow of information from internal and external sources into our core systems and to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.

Build team of Data Entry & Validation specialists

Question established ways of working or decisions potentially unfit or blocking the achievement of the team goals.

Optimize our customers’ experience using data driven decisions

Act independently as the Product Catalog Subject Matter Expert, for product delivery and continued performance.

Lead transformation and long term strategic execution of Product Data & Catalog initiatives

Identify, capture and track the implementation of all requirements impacting the Product CatalogLead high-level design workshops, analyse and document Use Cases.

Work closely with the Business & Technology teams to identify and analyze core Business Processes and workflows, identify resource implications and work to get sign-off and confirm ownership of processes impacting the catalog.

Plan and facilitate the exposure of new data elements: manage intake and assess requests for new product data attributes, including proactively anticipating and identifying issues and risks on an initiative and developing strategies to mitigate the risks.

Assist the Product Leads in identifying root causes or variables with potential impacts to product introduction and performance metrics (KPIs).

Produce process models and workflows, sequence diagrams, state diagrams, data architecture diagrams as required for the Product delivery.

Identify test scope and review expected results for test scenarios and field trials to confirm alignment with business intent and requirements.

Actively engage and participate in peer reviews and provide coaching and guidance as needed .

Ensure health and safety compliance. .

Prioritize excellent service delivery.

Perform other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

ACADEMIC TRAINING

Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience - in IT, Commerce or equivalent

Certifications in Data Management & Modelling, Salesforce, and/or TMForum are an asset

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3 years experience in Product Catalog Administration in Telecommunications and/or Information Technology

Minimum 5 years of experience in system or product analysis

Experience with Salesforce Industries Enterprise Product Catalog, Vlocity Product Catalog or similar application

SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

Solid understanding of order management, decomposition and orchestration as well as catalog synchronization.

Experience leading a team to consistently successful outcomes; skilled in prioritization, delegation, resource management and efficiency

Collaborative team player with strong communication skills

In-depth knowledge of the telecommunications industry, of emerging industry practices and technology to solve business problems

Strong analytical, product management and coordination skills..

Ability to anticipate customer needs and provide guidance and direction to product roadmap and development.

Ability to contribute to the development, oversight and maintenance of intake and change request process as it pertains to the wireless product catalog.

Experienced in multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in Root-cause analysis, solution development, and testing expertise

Able to empathetically handle conflicts and encourage other team members to voice their ideas and concerns.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Show respect for differences and diversity, and disagree without personalizing issues.

Ability to set personal objectives that meet organizational needs and manage self to deliver on set objectives.

Excellent presentation skills.

Bilingualism (French/English) preferred as Cogeco operations are in both Quebec and Ontario
