Maintenance Supervisor - Battery Systems Assembly (Ellabell)
Summary
The Battery Systems Assembly Maintenance Supervisor Oversees the Maintenance Technicians and Provides First Line Support for all Production Machinery and Assembly Machinery.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of BSA Maintenance Supervisor are to oversee the daily operations of the maintenance technicians and offer support for all preventative maintenance, repair, installation, and removal of parts from machines and equipment. Logging and tracking of work, parts used and procedures, as well as notating any abnormalities. This will require observing working practices and machines, root cause analysis, FMEA, and working with engineers/ manager to solve problems, diagnose machines, robots, PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, bearings, gears, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HMI systems.
Basic Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.
Preferred Education and Experience
Three (3) to Five (5) or more years of experience as Maintenance Supervisor
Three (3) to Five (5) or more years of experience as Maintenance Technician
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Technical degree from an Accredited Technical Institute
Working knowledge of automotive industry
Automotive manufacturing experience
Knowledge of production robotics
Knowledge of conveyor systems
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems
Knowledge of both hand and power tools
Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) techniques
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
Working knowledge of servo and stepper motors
Working knowledge of Control Systems, PLCs, and HMI systems
Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance Practices
Knowledge of SAP and CMMS systems
Welding to include SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW
Working knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out
Automated production line experience
Experience with SAP and CMMS
Familiarity with Lean work practices
Certificates, Licenses and Registration:
Preferred Mechatronics Background
Preferred Electrical Background
Preferred knowledge of Lithium based battery systems.
Working Conditions
60% on production floor, 40% in office work
Extensive walking and standing on the production floor.
Extensive bending, stooping, laying on floor and climbing.
Occasionally lift up to 50lbs alone
Flexibility to work multiple shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Team based working environment.
Required to always wear PPE correctly.
