Position Summary:

GEOST seeks an enthusiastic and highly capable Operator to work with a multi-disciplinary team to monitor and provide analysis for an on-orbit composite technical system. A qualified candidate will be able to apply technical knowledge and analysis to ensure the success of complex missions in pioneering space projects. This position requires a Top-Secret security clearance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage payload configuration.

Monitor and report sensor health.

Work with science personnel to maintain and optimize sensor performance.

Command updates to payload

Daily event/data monitoring

Document findings, prepare reports, and make recommendations.

Collaborate with system admins during outages to supply payload diagnostics.

Coordinate with mission partners as well as government customer

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

Strong attention to detail

Excellent communications skills

Experience with documenting reports and configuration

MATLAB experience

Familiarity with Configuration Management tools

TS/SCI Poly

Preferred Skills

Analytical skills

Systems Engineering experience.

Travel up to 10%

Technical degree
