About the Role:

We're searching for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join Remitly's Accounts Payable team, reporting to our Vendor Onboarding Pillar Lead. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual contributor with a bias for action who is excited by the opportunity to make a big impact in a fast-paced and dynamically growing Company.

You Will:

Coordinate the onboarding process for new vendors.

Obtain and verify accurate vendor information, including tax forms and banking information.

Work with vendors via Zoom to assist with setup questions.

Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Work closely with the procurement department, as well as AP team members across three time zones.

Ensure consistency of application of internal controls over the procure-to-pay process.

You Have:

Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills, including fluency in Spanish and English.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred).

Experience in vendor management, accounts payable, or procurement.

Detail-oriented and organized.

Experience with Coupa or similar ERP systems is a plus.

Strong analytical skills.

Proficiency in Excel.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
