POSITION PURPOSE

As the Workday HRIS Analyst, you'll provide vital functional and technical support for our HRIS. You'll collaborate closely with the Director of Global HR and the Workday Project Manager, actively participating in the planning, design, development, testing, and deployment of Workday modules. Your role requires a blend of functional and technical expertise, along with the ability to foster collaboration across technical and non-technical teams to ensure effective solution implementation. Additionally, you'll be responsible for maintaining Workday, ensuring data integrity, and system releases, and maximizing efficiency through process improvements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Security Management:

• Implement and uphold robust security measures within the Workday HRIS platform to protect sensitive HR data and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.

• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks.

• Manage access requests and permissions to core system modules.

• Collaborates with the HR team regarding proper security needed for creating/configuring and modifying security roles for user and user groups

• Ensures roles are created properly and contain the proper access to HR systems.

• Implements safeguards to ensure employee data privacy and protection.

Data Governance:

• Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Gathers, defines, and implements system requirements.

• Performs advanced system configurations including core tables, eligibility rules, business processes, workflows, notifications, calculated fields, and plan setup.

• Identify, verify, design, and implement system enhancements and business process improvements for key HR processes.

• Assigns and maintains user access.

Integration Development and Management:

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Workday HRIS and other enterprise systems using Workday Studio or similar integration tools.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and implement workflows.

Project & Vendor Management and Collaboration:

• Coordinate with Workday representatives, vendors, and consultants to address technical issues and manage system upgrades.

• Lead multiple projects, tracking critical paths and ensuring deliverables are met on time.

User Support and Training:

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to HR users and administrators on Workday HRIS functionality.

• Develop user documentation and training materials.

Change Management and Release Planning:

• Plan and execute system updates and enhancements in coordination with HR leadership and change management teams.

• Participates in biannual release/enhance processes to review functionality, impact analysis, configuration, and testing.

EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND

Required:

2+ years of hands-on experience configuring and overseeing Workday HCM and Security modules.

Proven track record in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving system issues, coupled with the ability to recommend and implement effective problem-solving strategies.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities, with an unwavering commitment to data accuracy.

Demonstrated proficiency in conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams, facilitating the identification and implementation of solutions for complex challenges.

Preferred:

Experience working in a global environment.

Demonstrate knowledge of the HR function & processes

Certifications in Workday: HCM Core, Performance and Talent, Recruiting, Reporting, Security.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work Eastern Time or Central Time Preferred:

Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours as needed to accommodate members and team members in multiple time zones.

Ability to work for extended hours at a computer screen.

Ability and ability to travel, domestically and internationally, without restrictions, approximately 5% per year.
