Job Description We’re looking for PayOps Risk & Controls Specialists to join our growing team in Tallinn.

Here’s how you’ll add value to the team: Helping teams analyse new and existing products and operational processes, assessing risks and working with stakeholders to reduce risks to acceptable level; Assessing and testing existing controls, working with stakeholders to improve existing controls and implement new ones; Driving risk awareness across Payment Operations and ensuring alignment across the whole organisation; Cooperation with various other teams in Wise, including Risk, Compliance, Finance; Driving risk mitigation projects and ensuring their timely completion; Performing monitoring routines over various topics, reporting the results; Qualifications You're placed in Tallinn and have a right to work in Estonia.

You have at least 2 years of experience working with risks/controls.

Background in audit is a bonus.

You’re data-driven, able to prioritise the value add, measure the impact and have a proven track record of moving metrics and reaching your KPI goals.

You’re comfortable with performing regular and routine daily tasks and also driving larger projects as project manager.

You have a keen eye for detail and are resilient when facing difficult tasks.

You have experience as a project manager and are able to drive projects related to topics in your scope.

You’re a great communicator with excellent written and verbal English skills.

You’ll quickly pick up on how best to communicate effectively across different audiences, and when either giving or receiving feedback.

You can explain problems clearly and include others in the team to discuss solutions.

You’re able to persuade others and you aren’t afraid to challenge something when you need to.

You have experience in working across different teams, from operational, product development to external partners, and you're comfortable taking responsibility in challenging situations.

Your intellectual curiosity has no limit and this is your guiding light.

You have the self-awareness to understand when you don’t know something and the humility to learn.
