Job Title: Telecom Network Field Technician

Location/Work Model: Lancaster, TX 75146

The bulk of work will be from their vehicle and out in the field within the DFW area. There would be up to 20% of travel involved outside of the metroplex.

Pay Rate: $35-$45/Hour

Conversion Salary Range: $75K-$90K

Contract Length: 6-month C2H

Job Description: We are looking to bring on a Field Technician to join our team and ensure the operational efficiency of our communications and networking technologies. This Field Tech will work on the programming, installation, maintenance, and repairs for various types of network & communication equipment such as routers, modems, fiber, and ethernet. We would like for this person to come in with experience around Fiber Optic Networks, IP routing, and RF/Microwave design. For Fiber Optics, this technician should have experience testing & splicing fiber, identifying/repairing cable faults, and performing cable construction to expand telecom networks or repairing/replacing existing lines. For IP routing, you will be diagnosing, monitoring, and upgrading IP network systems and repairing hardware to ensure performance is optimal, primarily working with Nokia and Spectrum routers. This team also performs RF/MW (Radiofrequency/Microwave) testing and troubleshooting. Any experience with LMR (Land Mobile Radio) will be a plus.
