Staff Accountant - Columbus, OH
Seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management: Summarize and transfer details into separate ledgers to ensure accurate and organized financial data.
Financial Accuracy: Balance and reconcile accounts meticulously to uphold financial integrity.
Invoicing and Billing: Efficiently manage internal invoicing and billing responsibilities to support seamless operations.
Accounts Management: Oversee functions related to both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable for smooth financial transactions.
Reporting: Compile comprehensive reports reflecting cash receipts, expenditures, profit and loss, and other crucial business metrics.
Project Contributions: Actively contribute to departmental projects aimed at enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Experience: 1-3 years of accounting experience, with internship experience considered advantageous.
Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a keen eye for detail in handling financial transactions and data.
Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.
Technical Proficiency: Possess solid computer skills to navigate and utilize accounting software efficiently.
