Software Developer

Developed highly interactive web app utilizing JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, React.js, Next,js integrating RESTful APIs and Firebase, ensuring high performance on Mobile and Desktop.

Debug, and refactor existing implementations and software modules as required.

Lead initiatives to discuss architecture and API design patterns for mid/long-term developments.

Actively manage, improve, and monitor cloud infrastructure on Heroku, AWS, EC2, S3, ElasticSearch, including backups, patches, and scaling.

As part of the IT team, perform application requirement analysis by identifying gaps between business requirements and the current vision of the proprietary application using computer science, agile development, and iterative development methodologies, as applicable.

Refine and decompose application requirements to initiate development as a part of the team.

Assist with the design, development and documentation of existing and new functionalities and related components.

Perform unit testing for application functionalities and related components and document test results using testing methodologies such as manual and regression testing, as directed.

Complete application development code reviews for the developed software features and related components, and complete documentation of issues identified and action items.

Identify application development bottlenecks and opportunities to optimize performance, as directed.

Requirements: Master degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or a closely related field plus twelve (12) months of experience in the job offered and twelve (12) months of experience in the use of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, React.js, Next,js integrating RESTful APIs and Firebase.
