Illuminate USA, a new standalone joint venture established by two global leaders in renewable energy, is building one of the largest solar panel manufacturing factories in the Western Hemisphere. This 1.1 million-square-foot factory is currently in advanced stages of preparation in the Columbus, Ohio area. Job Summary:

We are currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator for our new factory in Columbus, Ohio.

The logistics coordinator handles import or export shipments and ensures shipments arrive on time and without issue.

Responsibilities:

Planning and scheduling the pick up of international ocean inbound shipment from rail/port to our plant.

Tracking and monitoring shipment costs and productivity processes

Resolving any issues or problems related to shipment or delivery

Carry out timely operations for inbound and outbound activities.

Ensure accurate and searchable data.

Good at follow up and well organizing

Experience at outbound trucking arrangement is preferable

Communicating with suppliers to ensure that they can provide accurate documents and meet the order requirements.

Follow up with customs broker and manage a timely customs clearance.

Coordinate with transportation team to arrange timely pickup and delivery

Organize and file various documents, and consolidate data for daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

Determining shipping needs based on the type of product being shipped and the location where it will be delivered

Completion of other tasks as assigned by the department manager.

Qualifications:

Typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.

1-2 year working experience in international ocean inbound shipment

Good communication skill and able to handle numerous emails daily

Proficiency at excel spreadsheet and good computer skill

Willing to work under pressure and grow with fast pace environment

Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience, or may need 0 years of experience with additional specialized training and/or certification.

Outstanding learning and communication ability;

Microsoft Office savvy.
