Fire Alarm Repair Estimator, Baltimore

Are you a fire alarm technician who would like to bring your technical skills and knowledge to a office position supporting a field team?

If so, check out Fireline Corporation—we are seeking a Fire Alarm Repair Estimator to join our Service Department.

As one of our Repair Estimators, you’ll be responsible for pricing and managing fire alarm repair quotes. Responsibilities include reviewing job deficiency reports, creating material lists and labor estimates as well as working with vendors on pricing and purchasing materials.

What we’re looking for…

Prior experience with testing, inspecting and repairing fire alarm systems (3 years).

Have basic computer skills, preferably able to use MS Word, Excel, Adobe PDF.

Strong communication skills and a good customer service attitude.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-call volume, office environment.

In addition to the requirements above, quality candidates will possess the following:

Applicants must be 18+

Per Fireline’s insurance policy, it is a requirement that employees ages 21 and over are permitted to drive company vehicles.

A clean driving record for the past three years as jobsite visits may occasionally be needed.

Pass a pre-employment drug screening and a background check.

Fireline is a drug-free company. Employees will be required to take a drug test at the time of hire and periodically throughout their employment. This will include the testing of cannabinoids (marijuana), opiates, amphetamines, and methamphetamines. Fireline is a DOT regulated business working in the life safety industry and per DOT rule 49 CFR Part.

The ability to sit long periods of time, use your hands and fingers to work computer systems and keyboard, read, speak clearly and have frequent telephone and face-to-face conversations.
