PROJECT ENGINEER JOB SUMMARY

CDL Class A or B Driver with 2 or more years Experience. Driver must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs with the ability to operate a Pallet Jack and 2 wheel dolly/hand truck. Must be able to work flexible hours.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform pre and post trip MVI (motor vehicle inspections) in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies

Complete and submit driver logs and inspection record

Follow and comply with all DOT regulations and safety standards

Verify delivery accuracy and assure saleable condition of products

Load and unload cases of product manually with various tools and ensure load is properly secured

Handle documentation in computerized hand-held device and/or paper as required

Submit daily customer paperwork including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports

Resolve discrepancies and report issues to management

Assist in opportunities to identify process improvements

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORTS

This position requires jobsite visits such as on and around roadways, under bridges, and in active construction zones.

EDUCATION

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Class A or B CDL License

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.

Experience with electronics/computers/networking.

3+ years CDL driver experience.

Experience with state Department of Transportation Experience is a plus
