Senior Technical Editor

Responsibilities:

Oversee the creation, editing, and management of technical content, including but not limited to reports, manuals, guides, and instructional materials.

Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), researchers, and stakeholders to gather and analyze information for content development.

Ensure all content adheres to industry standards, style guides, and best practices for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.

Conduct quality assurance checks on all outgoing content to verify accuracy, completeness, and alignment with standards.

Develop and implement content strategies, workflows, and processes to streamline content creation, review, and approval.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior content creators, editors, and technical writers to enhance their skills and ensure quality output.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing,

Proven experience in senior content management, editing, technical writing, or instructional system design.

Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), publishing tools, and software relevant to technical writing and instructional design.

Knowledge of industry standards, style guides, and best practices for technical content creation and management.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Salary $90,000-$100,000 dependent on experience.
