Summary of Position: As a Sr. Linux/OpenShift Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining our self-hosted/cloud infrastructure. You'll work with a variety of tools and technologies, including OpenShift, Kubernetes, GitLab, VMware vSphere, RedHat Satellite servers, Ansible Automation platform, and Jenkins (CI/CD), among others. Your role will be critical in ensuring the availability, resilience, and security of our IT computing infrastructure, as well as leading infrastructure enhancement projects that incorporate new technologies.

Principal Responsibilities:

Design, install, configure, and manage Red Hat OpenShift infrastructure and cloud platforms

Automate software development and delivery processes using tools like Jenkins, Git, Ansible, etc.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software performance, security, reliability, and scalability

Collaborate with other software engineers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to ensure quality and timely delivery of software products

Develop and maintain documentation for the infrastructure and processes

Principal Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience

5+ years of experience in Red Hat OpenShift (REQUIRED) engineering and administration

5+ years of experience in cloud computing, and DevOps engineering

Proficiency in managing, maintaining, developing, deploying, and using OpenShift

Experience with various DevOps tools and frameworks such as Jenkins, Git, Ansible, etc.

Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills
