Job Summary

The Inventory Associate is responsible for assisting with finished product inventory on a daily basis while also completing order fulfillment functions that are essential to Grow Ohio. This role will help in ensuring accurate inventory transfers, accurate product organization within the vault, and accurate product selection and counts for order fulfillment. The Inventory Associate will report directly to the Inventory Control Manager and support them in all areas of responsibility, with a heavy focus on finished product inventory and order fulfillment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain Finished Product Inventory:

Ensure all finished product transfers are moved into case sale trays with correct quantities.

Ensure all finished product transfers are counted and verified to the corresponding Metrc tag.

Ensure compliance labels on finished product transfers are applied to all items properly and spare labels are included with the transfer.

Ensure all finished product transfers are staged within the vault according to the current vault organization layout.

Assist in logging finished product inventory into corresponding spreadsheets.

Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly finished product inventory audits for Metrc and Leaf Link.

Assist in all vault organization tasks.

Assist in the movement of finished product between multiple storing locations.

Assist in quality control checks which may involve labeling and re-labeling of finished products.

Complete Order Fulfillment:

Ensure proper order fulfillment supplies are maintained daily.

Pull the proper finished product inventory for each order.

Confirm products are in proper case sizes and counts are verified accordingly.

Assist in verification of all products pulled for corresponding orders.

Make sure that each unit has a compliance label and that extra compliance labels are included with each item.

Assist in writing corresponding Metrc tags per invoice.

Assist in invoice and Metrc tag verification at the end of each packed order.

Stage all completed orders according to route within the vault until manifests are completed.

Place corresponding manifests on orders at end of day.

Assist with the placement of finished orders in their correct locations according to route for next day delivery.

Vault Duties:

Assist with the following daily tasks:

Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of clutter.

Use proper equipment and keep vault 100% in compliance with all safety requirements.

Ensure supplies are stocked and case trays are assembled as needed.

Replenish case trays within the packaging areas.

Assist with packaging preparation as time permits.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsible, self-starting individual, who possesses strong work ethic, excellent time-management, and the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Detail oriented, observant, coachable, and must take pride in all aspects of work.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to fluctuating business needs.

Basic understanding of product inventory, order fulfillment, and corresponding processes.

Exceptional math and problem-solving skills.

Capability to lift 50-75lbs regularly.

Ability to pass forklift safety training and receive certification (Prior experience preferred but not required).

Clean driving record.

At least 21 years of age.

Effective time management skills.

Detail oriented, highly organized, and motivated by accomplishment.

Ability to present ideas effectively and communicate well with all levels of management.

Ability to work in a team environment on a variety of programs and projects.

Advanced computer knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Ability to work independently and in a continually changing environment.

Ability to multi-task effectively in a busy, high stress environment.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and keyboard.

Specific vision abilites required for this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.

Heavy to moderate lifting is required (up to 75lbs).

The ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment.

The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.

The ability to respond quickly to sounds.

The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.

The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.

The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.

The ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time.

The ability to work in bright/hot/humid conditions.

The ability to work in high CO2 environments.

The ability to use a half face respirator.

The ability to complete fine motor functions.

The ability to work in low light situations.

Exposure to limited hazardous chemicals

This is a full-time position with variable hours required. Our facility is open from 6 am to 8 pm seven days a week. Candidates should be aware that this position may be required to work some weekends and evenings, depending on demand.
