We are looking for a talented electrician to join our Power Generation Team in Port Moresby!

This role will see you as part of a team of field-based technicians specialising in repairing and maintaining high horsepower, prime and standby generators.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Working on generator sets and engine control panels, scheduled and unscheduled service works

Troubleshooting and diagnostics on engines up to 3350KVA

Modifying wiring looms and diagrams

Commissioning of new generators and systems, transfer switches, and master controllers

Working closely with the Mechanical Service team

Completing all work with a high focus on safety

Participate in an afterhours on call roster

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Hold a current PNG Power License

Be a trade qualified electrician

Hold a current supervisor’s and/or contractor’s license

A locally valid driver’s license

Solid diagnostic and strong PC skills

Put safety first, every task every day

Compensation and Benefits

Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm and Saturday half day

Competitive hourly rate paid as a permanent salary
