We are looking for a talented electrician to join our Power Generation Team in Port Moresby!

This role will see you as part of a team of field-based technicians specialising in repairing and maintaining high horsepower, prime and standby generators.

**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:**

+ Working on generator sets and engine control panels, scheduled and unscheduled service works

+ Troubleshooting and diagnostics on engines up to 3350KVA

+ Modifying wiring looms and diagrams

+ Commissioning of new generators and systems, transfer switches, and master controllers

+ Working closely with the Mechanical Service team

+ Completing all work with a high focus on safety

+ Participate in an afterhours on call roster

**To be successful in this role you will need the following:**

+ Hold a current PNG Power License

+ Be a trade qualified electrician

+ Hold a current supervisor’s and/or contractor’s license

+ A locally valid driver’s license

+ Solid diagnostic and strong PC skills

+ Put safety first, every task every day

**Compensation and Benefits**

+ Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm and Saturday half day
