The opportunity

Responsible for Human Resources related duties including new hire onboarding, employee relations, training, policy administration, HRIS, and employee communication. Position is based in Jacksonville, FL.

The role

Manages the consistent administration of human resources policies and practices.

Oversees hourly hiring process for assigned facility.

Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with leadership and employees to coordinate human resources actions, communicate information and address any employee issues.

Conducts investigations to effectively resolve employee grievances.

Facilitates training, including new hire orientation, with employees.

Maintains data integrity in personnel files and HRIS system.

Coordinates programs and events such as employee recognition and employee appreciation.

Ensures that employee records are accurate, complete and legally compliant.

Supports goals and objectives of the HR Department on a corporate, regional and local level.

Assists with corporate reporting needs.

Maintains confidentiality, integrity, and ethical standards.

Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

The requirements

University degree and 3-5 years of experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Experience in utilizing and maintaining a full functional integrated HRIS system (Oracle platform preferred)

Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Self-starter and able to work independently

Ability to work in a team-based environment

Ability to demonstrate flexibility to changing work priorities

Very strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Confidentiality of data

Hearing is required in order to hear instructions, receive information from various sources, and understand safety warnings

Vision is required in order to read instructions, interpret data, and formulate metrics
