Foster Fuels is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our Mission Critical Logistics team. The role is responsible for assisting customers, clients, and vendors through processing invoices for payment and preparing customer invoices with strong attention to detail. A strong knowledge of accounting principles and software systems is a must.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain retainer list of customers to ensure proper management of monthly, quarterly, or annual adjustments as needed
Assist in receiving and researching payments from customers and match to invoices.
Prepare monthly retainers for all division customers
Maintain records for reporting purposes on all transactions.
Assist operations team in resolving issues or customer service problems.
Ensure the timely reporting of all daily, weekly, and monthly financial information.
Manage division's accounts receivable function to ensure customers are timely
Customer portal management including collections and reporting on accounts receivable metrics
Prepare adjustments on internal and external financial entries
Support overall department goals and perform any other administrative duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting Principles
3 years experience with Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
Knowledge of Consumer Price Indexes
Working knowledge of accounting software
Proficient in Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multi-task in time-sensitive situations to meet deadlines
Preferred Skills:
Fuel Industry Experience in a high-volume environment
Experience using Salesforce or Cargas software
