Salary: $16/hour with 90 day increase

Seeking to fill a full time Receptionist/Customer Service/Administrative Assistant position in a fast paced & high volume environment. As a member of our counter staff team, you will be the first point of contact for the organization and will provide administrative support across the organization for all staff members and management. This position is so much more than simply answering phones. This position requires superior organizational and multi-tasking skills in order to handle the flow of customers and co-workers alike through the business and ensure that all administrative tasks are completed accurately, delivered with a high quality and in a timely manner. Our Counter Staff is the first and last face that our clients will see. Counter Staff schedule appointments, process payments, maintain the cleanliness of the studio, and ensure that the studio is running as effectively & efficiently as possible. Hours of Operation are: 10:30 am – 9:00 pm Monday-Saturday

11:30 am – 6:00 pm Sunday

Available shift to be filled:

Floating Position between our Downtown & Westside studio locations. Location will vary but include Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 38-40 hours per week.

Must be able to complete 3 week training period Monday-Thursday 10:30 am - 9:00 pm at our Downtown Studio location.

Hours can vary based on staffing demands and occasional travel between all studio locations required.

Essential Functions (include but are not limited to) -

Answering multi-lined phone systems promptly & professionally, providing clients with information such as:

Studio addresses and hours of operation

Individual staff schedules and availability

Jewelry base prices and materials

Shop minimum for tattoos

Consultation, Minor & Deposit Policies and process

Basic after-care guidelines

Parking information at each studio

Further questions as they arise, ensuring that all inquiries are directed to the appropriate parties.

Greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing all clients warmly and ensuring they are leaving satisfied with their visit.

Providing clerical support to staff as requested,

including but not limited to:

Creating signage

Forwarding applications and resumes to Training Supervisor

Forwarding reviews to management

Monitoring and responding to client emails

Creating Excel spreadsheets

Printing of documents such as employee schedules

Further tasks as dictated by management

Scheduling of appointments; updating, maintaining and overseeing the

appointment book and all essential functions.

Maintenance of office equipment, as necessary.

Proper cash handling procedures & all service transactions with POS and manual operating systems such as:

Collecting payment for services rendered

Accurate register reconciliation

Processing payments via phone

Processing refunds

Appropriately documenting petty cash transactions

Maintain Cleanliness of the Studio, including but not

limited to:

Completing cleaning duties in a timely manner

Ensuring that the studio restroom is clean and well stocked at all

times

General upkeep as needed in common spaces

Further cleaning duties as assigned by management which may include tattoo/piercing/sterile stations.

Position Requirements:

High School Diploma required

Work experience in similar roles

Knowledge of administrative and clerical functions

Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications

Knowledge of customer service practices and principles

Reliable transportation and proof of insurance

Must be 18 years old.
