Metric Search are partnered with a leading manufacturer of industrial equipment on a new Business Development Manager opportunity. The company produce a high-end product that can be found in multiple different industries including, plastics, food & beverage production, pulp & paper, oil & gas and water/wastewater. They are a growing organization who can offer realistic promotion opportunities in the next few years.

We are recruiting for a Sourcing Buyer for their aftermarket and MRO (maintenance, repair and operations) team. You will be working with a number of suppliers to purchase materials and parts for various purchasing requests. You will be responsible for RFQs, price and contract term negotiations and sourcing decisions. You will also be negotiating with suppliers to reduce costs and shorten lead times.

Key Requirements:

Experience working for a manufacturer

Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school)

years purchasing experience

with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning): Required

with SAP: Strongly Preferred
