Principal Analog Design Engineer

Are you a seasoned Analog Engineer seeking an exceptional opportunity to contribute to innovative projects across their life cycle stages? We are excited to offer a unique opening for a Principal Analog Design Engineer to join our client's in the Defence and Space industry.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in providing electrical design solutions and product development for novel and challenging projects, particularly in the space-based imaging domain.

The role responsibilities:

Contribute to the development of complex, high-reliability electrical designs for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions on diverse platforms operating in the harsh environments of space.

Provide lead electrical engineering support for critical flight mission applications, ground validation, and test activities.

Work on high-reliability designs for use in critical space and military applications.

Conduct original electrical design and electro-optical instrument design.

Perform complex analog design, including simulation, system/component modelling, signal integrity analysis, and power/stress analysis.

Conduct worst-case circuit performance/functional analysis over mission life and environmental extremes.

Design analog deliverable ship set hardware and internal Special Test Equipment.

Provide validation testing support.

Collaborate with program teams to develop design concepts and perform trades.

What we need from you:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a similar field.

10+ years of experience in board level electrical design on space programs.

Demonstrated lead electrical design capability and experience.

Familiar with analog circuit design concepts.

Conceptual original design experience.

Experience writing/deriving requirements and generating verification plans.

Familiarity with DOORS requirements management tool and a rigorous requirements documentation and validation process.
