Responsibilities
Sample Preparation for Analysis: This involves getting samples ready for further investigation.
Bacterial and Fungal Identification and Quantification: Utilizing biochemical analysis, as well as examining macroscopic and microscopic features, to identify and quantify bacterial and fungal isolates.
Fungal Identification and Enumeration in Air, Bulk, and Surface Samples: Examining samples from various sources (air, bulk materials, and surfaces) to identify and count fungal species
Customer Service Support and Data Interpretation: Assisting with customer inquiries, evaluating results, and interpreting data.
Routine Quality Control: Regularly ensuring that processes meet quality standards.
Testing Reagents, Stains, Media, and Fluids: Verifying the quality and proper use of reagents, stains, media, and fluids through rigorous testing and adherence to aseptic techniques.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science
Must be able to utilize a microscope and computer for microbial identifications and data entry.
Previous analysis experience a plus.
PFAS experience a must.
