Genesys Engineer

Position: Sr. Genesys Engineer

Duration: 6-Month Contract w/ Extensions

Location: Hybrid in Columbus

Columbus, OH 43219 (3 days onsite) – OPEN TO C2C AND RELO

Interview Process: 2 rounds. 30 minute Team’s call / 1-hour Technical Final

Must Haves:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science

5+ Years experience with Genesys platform, experience building from scratch preferred

5-6 years’ experience with Fullstack Software Engineering

Java, JavaScript, .NET, React (all is great, some is OK!)

Proficient in Python Programming

2+ years of AWS knowledge

Strong test automation, pipeline automation, and unit test coverage experience

Excellent Communication and Softskills

Familiarity with Avaya

Experience being apart of a full Genesys implementation

Day to Day:

A client of Insight Global is seeking a senior level engineer with Genesys experience and strong communication and collaboration skills to bring our organization from near-scratch to live with the Genesys platform. This individual will be part of a dedicated team to build out the initial strategy, implementation, and rollout, as well as internal team/engineer knowledge building, and a roadmap for future possibilities with Genesys.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Implement Genesys in our Engineering Org, replacing current state infrastructure around our call center services

Integrate data, services, and applications from the entire company landscape into the Genesys platform

Build testing automation and associated processes (Unit test coverage, testing automation, pipeline automation, code scanning, etc.) into the software product.

Work in an agile team environment to iteratively delivery value.

Build a future roadmap based off of Genesys capabilities and integrations for our system
