Contract Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Contracts Specialist for a fantastic engineering company. The role is temporary with potential to become permanent. It is full time and fully onsite in Alexandria, VA.

Key Responsibilities:

Review a wide range of commercial contracts, including MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, and other related agreements

Conduct thorough risk assessments of proposed contracts, identify potential risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively

Maintain accurate records of all contracts and related documents, track key milestones and obligations, and ensure timely contract renewals, amendments, and terminations to safeguard the company's interests and compliance

Support the GC with overflow work and some administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree Legal Studies, or related field, advanced degree or certification in Contract Management or Paralegal Studies is a plus

1-3 years of experience as a Contracts Specialist with a focus on commercial contracts

Proven expertise with commercial contracts, including MSA's, NDA's, SOW's

Strong understanding of contract law principles, legal terminology, and commercial contract clauses

Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

The approximate pay range is $35-$40 hourly
