Position Overview:

Freddie Mac’s Single Family Pricing, Risk Transfer & Securitization Division is currently seeking a Securities Modeling Senior, who will be responsible for cash flow modeling for Agency REMIC, CMBS and CMO transactions as a member of the Multiclass Securitization team. The team is responsible for executing Single Family and Multifamily structured securitization transactions to ensure accurate disclosure to investors and to facilitate bond administration. This group focuses on managing, informing, and influencing the investor base and expanding the company’s securitization capabilities.

Securitization Group manages deal issuance for Freddie Mac CMO products. Modeling team works on structure validation, cashflow modeling and disclosure review to ensure accurate and efficient deal issuance with superior client satisfaction and risk management.

Your Impact:

Actively participate in business function and Legal disclosure automation.

Partner with the Single Family and Multifamily teams by conducting research, analysis and cash flow model creation to structure and execute Agency REMIC, CMO and CMBS transactions.

Perform cash flow tie-out in transactions and help build cash flow model library and control data quality.

Maintain documentation on modeling procedures and business rules.

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Economics, Applied Mathematics, or related fields

3-5 years Programming experience in JAVA, Python, SAS, SQL, and/or Visual Basic

Exposure in cash flow modeling in Agency REMIC, CMBS, CMO and/or credit risk transfer transactions

Working knowledge of Intex applications (IntexCalc and DealMaker) or comparable cash flow modeling tools is preferred

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $114,000 - $172,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
