American Yacht Group is the premier HCB Service Center & the HCB Yachts dealer for South Florida, representing the luxury center-console builder in Naples, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Stuart, Bahamas, and surrounding areas. We are a professional service center and yacht brokerage firm that specializes in the service and test center, sale and purchase of luxury boats, motor yachts, cruising yachts, and high-end center-consoles.

The Sales Director role will be responsible for executing sales with potential prospects, and supporting the team with lead generation events.

Job Responsibilities:

Sell high end boats

Ensure monthly/annual sales goals (revenue and margin) are met or exceeded

Maintain accurate customer lead list and record all interactions with customers in CRM

Maintain accurate boat inventory in Lightspeed, including quality photos of boat inventory

Provide weekly lead updates to the Sales Manager

Maintain constant communication with all AYG departments on leads and upcoming sales

Participate in the ordering and scheduling of new boat inventory

Be aware of competitors and keep friendly competition – prove to the customer why we deserve them as a customer

Other tasks as requested by supervisor

Education, Qualification & Skills:

Minimum 5 Years in High End Sales

Know boating world and boats

Good decision-making skills and response to high-pressure situations

Excellent interpersonal communication and organizing skills to coordinate project activities.

Customer Service: Ability to serve our customers respectfully and efficiently.

Understand that the customer is our number one priority and serving them is what will make us successful.

Be able to work with high net worth individuals.

Be able to work with customers in the various situations both on and off the water, and at the customer’s personal residence.

Selling: Gain our customers trust through selling our products with enthusiasm and true passion Communication: Able to interact professionally with colleagues, clients, and company personnel, able to clearly and effectively communicate information both orally and in writing

Working Location & Conditions:

Flexibility with customer schedules for calls and appointments

This position operates in marinas, outdoors on and off water and in an office environment.

Requires working with heights involved, kneeling, bending, climbing, twisting, lifting objects, or sitting for extended periods of time.
