Dynamic Captial Planning is a comprehensive financial planning firm located in northern Virginia and serving a remote client base in 40+ states. The team is nationally recognized within Northwestern Mutual for elite sales levels and balanced production across various investment, insurance, and fee-based planning solutions. The team boasts both CFA Charterholders and CFP® Professionals and creates a culture of learning. Team members are supported and rewarded (financially and otherwise) for excellence in financial planning acumen and obtaining credentials.

The team is hiring an experienced producer to both maintain existing client relationships and source new clients. This role is entirely client-facing and gives the candidate autonomy (while adhering to fiduciary responsibilities and regulatory requirements) to design their own preferences for managing the book of business. The team will provide multiple support players to ensure the client-facing advisors are well-positioned to excel in their role and focus on generating business. While full-time is the norm, exceptional producers can work a very flexible part-time schedule.

Job duties

· Maintaining relationships and fulfilling commitments to the team's existing clients through regular review meetings

· Prospecting on behalf of the team for new clients

· Working with colleagues to prepare and present financial analysis and recommendations

Qualifications

· 2+ years of work experience in a client-facing financial services role with a strong regulatory and compliance track record

· Commitment to provide fiduciary-level advice and act in the client's best interest

· Series 6, Series 7, or life & health insurance licensing with a willingness to obtain any remaining qualifications shortly after joining the team

· Willingness to learn

· Ability to embrace change and work in a fast-paced environment

· Able to work both independently and on a team

· Ability to maintain confidentiality

· CFP® Professionals preferred. Candidates without CFP® credentials will be expected to earn the designation within 3 years of joining the team

Since this particular role is client-facing and production-focused, base salary compensation can range widely depending upon the candidate's demonstrated production history, existing book of business that may transfer to our team, and relevant degrees and designations. Additionally, we create rich incentive compensation programs that add between 5% and 25% of the base salary to an employee's compensation. This incentive compensation is driven by both individual performance and firm performance. Exceptional team members will also have the opportunity to own an equity stake of the practice.
