ETL Application Developer

ASRC Federal is seeking a seasoned ETL Developer to join our team to support a DEA contract in Arlington, VA.

Work arrangement: Hybrid/Onsite Clearance: Public Trust (must be a US Citizen) Responsibilities: * Shall formulate and define system scope and objectives.

* Shall devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.

* Shall prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written and shall 81 design, code, test, debug, and document those programs.

* Shall be competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Requirements: * Strong understanding of the Data warehousing techniques and star/snowflake models.

* Must have experience in DataStage Director and job designs: * Experience in DataStage parallel and sequential job scheduling for multiple jobs.

* Experience in DataStage job scheduling process with Autosys and DataStage scheduler.

* Experience in DataStage error resolutions.

* Experience using Parallel processing Infrastructure using DataStage.

* Experience in developing Data stage jobs for extract and transformation to load to data warehouse.

* Experience with Join, Lookup, Merge stages.

* Experience using data stage functionalities like file loading and unstructured data.

* Experience with Oracle databases and building PL/SQL Procedures, Functions, Triggers and packages.

* Experience in writing Unix/Linux shell scripts.

* Must be a US Citizen and ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust.

* Must be able to pass a government issues background check.

Education: * BS/BA in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or equivalent * At least four (4) years’ experience in the field.

Eight (8) years of related experience is equivalent to a BS/BA in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or related discipline.
