Accountant

Information Systems Solutions, Inc. (ISS) is seeking an Accountant to support our Headquarters. The successful candidate, in addition to having the skills desired below, will have the desire to make an impact in a small, family-oriented company. The selected candidate will address most financial and basic contractual requirements for our company.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Maintain precise records of all vendor payments.

Monitor tax liabilities and ensure tax liabilities are paid on time.

Pay and keep record of all invoices.

Keep track of all company credit card spending, and make payments on credit accounts.

Analyze all accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure payment accuracy.

Work collaboratively with various departments to perform accounting audits.

Prepare and mail all required tax documents.

Research and approve new vendors and create new vendor accounts.

Review and approve Expense Reports in alignment with DCAA and JTR requirements.

Education

Bachelors in Accounting

Required Skills

7+ Years of Experience in Accounting or a related field

Microsoft Excel Proficiency

Proficiency in an accounting system such as Quickbooks or Sage

Desired Skills

Knowledge of Sage (Peachtree) Accounting System

Knowledge of the Wide Area Workflow

Knowledge of Paylocity Payroll + HR

Knowledge of DCAA and DCMA accounting system requirements (for remaining compliant)

Knowledge of the JTR
