Responsibilities:
IBTS has an immediate opening for an experienced Bid and Proposals Management Intern who will be responsible for assisting the Director of Capture and Proposal Management with proposal development and proposal library administration tasks as a member of the business development team. This paid part-time position accommodates onsite, hybrid, or remote.
Summary of Responsibilities
Review solicitations, response timeframe, resource requirements, and other proposal elements to assist in determining level or effort and proposal organization
Assist in the development of proposal outlines, schedules, and compliance matrices
Identify existing and relevant content for active proposal pursuits and update/revise content, as appropriate
Assist with proposal library development and organization
Engage in tech editing and formatting of proposal content and documentation developed by others
Conduct market research and business intelligence data gathering and analysis
Develop writing sections of proposal documents based on interviews or existing content
Editing content developed by others
Providing writing support to other internal or external projects, as required
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
High School Degree
Strong writing and editing skills
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Document editing experience
Desire to learn and interest in business development and bids and proposals
Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience using Teams or other communication and collaboration tools
