The Painted Cabernet is a hip “Paint and Sip Studio” located in downtown Santa Barbara. Currently searching to fill our need for local artists, self-taught artist, recent art student graduates to join our team. The ideal candidate must have an art background in Acrylic paint and capable in leading a group of 10 to 45 people in recreating the chosen painting for the night within 2 to hours. This is a social, fun and interactive studio... fun upbeat music is played and participants can purchase beverages including wine and beer. This is a cool environment where creativity is encouraged. We are not in the business to "lecture", but to provide an interactive social setting to our customers.

We are hiring an Artist to work 2 days a week, plus additional shifts for private events, as needed. Must be available to work on these weekly days:

Wednesday: 5:00pm - 9pm

Sunday: 12:00pm - 4:00pm

We are looking for someone who is outgoing, energetic, fun, have a sense of humor, patient and willing to follow our mission, we welcome you to contact us. Please inquire only if you agree to the following:

1. Recreate art from our repertoire of paintings (cannot change style)

2. Be available for private parties at outside locations including corporate team building events.

3. Be reliable, on time, zero excuses -- come to teach with a positive attitude.

4. Work as a team member!

5. We have a vendetta against bad customer service, so smiling faces are encouraged!

Because we are licensed as a bar, all prospective employees must be 21 or over to apply.
