Our client is seeking a Cyber and Policy Strategy Planner to provide support to the Cross Domain Support Office. The successful candidate will govern the delivery of cross domain capability at mission speed, defend classified networks, enable federated cross domain services, and develop cross domain expertise throughout the operating environment.

Responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:

Developing policy, programs, and guidelines for implementation

Establishing and maintaining communication channels with stakeholders

Reviewing existing and proposed policies with stakeholders

Serving on agency and interagency policy boards

Advocating for adequate funding for cyber training resources

Ensuring that cyber workforce management policies comply with legal and organizational requirements

Promoting awareness of cyber policy and strategy

Reviewing and assessing cyber workforce effectiveness

Interpreting and applying applicable laws, statutes, and regulatory documents

Analyzing organizational cyber policy

Assessing policy needs and collaborating with stakeholders to develop policies to govern cyber activities

Defining and integrating current and future mission environments

Designing/integrating a cyber strategy that aligns with the organization's strategic plan

Drafting, staffing, and publishing cyber policy

Monitoring the rigorous application of cyber policies, principles, and practices

Providing policy guidance to cyber management, staff, and users

Reviewing, conducting, or participating in audits of cyber programs and projects

Supporting the CIO in the formulation of cyber-related policies

Abilities:

Ability to determine the validity of technology trend data

Ability to develop policy, plans, and strategy in compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and standards

Ability to leverage best practices and lessons learned of external organizations and academic institutions dealing with cyber issues

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university

Accredited degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a Mathematics or Engineering field

Certifications: IAT, IAM, or IASAE Level 3

Top Secret SCI Clearance

Availability for possible travel within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside CONUS (OCONUS) (if any likely less than 10%)
