Our client is a successful, growing, luxury jewelry retailer with an exceptional reputation. We are seeking an experienced, team-oriented Luxury Retail Swiss Watch Sales Specialist. The role creates and fosters client relationships through a combination of in-depth product knowledge and a genuine passion for luxury selling. Reporting to the Director of Retail Sales, the full-time Sales Specialist works in a professional, team-oriented, elegant retail setting and works onsite, in-store, 5 days per week, including Saturdays.

The ideal candidate has luxury watch retail sales experience, excellent communication skills and a passion for the luxury category. The candidate is positive, entrepreneurial, proactive, collaborative, team-oriented and motivated to build and manage their own retail business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

RETAIL SALES AND EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE

Warmly greet all clients in a welcoming manner and deliver a professional, knowledgeable, memorable customer experience. Build and nurture all client relationships.

Ensure the highest degree of daily customer service in-person, over the phone or by email and aim to exceed customer expectations of product and service offerings every time. Provide accurate sales, customer service and support information to clients.

·Demonstrate knowledge of Swiss watch product offerings and exceptional selling skills. Educate new clients on watch brand histories. Ensure familiarity with the product offerings, so that clients can be provided with accurate details.

Contribute as a team-player to drive store business, grow the client base and reach the store’s monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and objectives.

Keep your client list aware of upcoming events and new product offerings.

Serve as an Ambassador for the Retailer.

MERCHANDISING AND OPERATIONS

Ensure that all products are properly displayed and merchandised and that all visual merchandising standards are followed.

Ensure that all transactions are handled in a responsible and secure way and that all security procedures are followed.

Ensure that the selling area and store is kept clean and presentable at all times.

Foster and maintain positive, professional, effective working relationships with team members, clients and partners.

KEY REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

College degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Watchmaker training from the WOSTEP Foundation or Swiss American Watchmaker Training Alliance (SAWTA) desirable.

2+ years of prior luxury retail sales experience. Passionate about luxury retail with a demonstrated understanding of the luxury customer experience and service. Thinks like a Concierge. Prior Swiss watch sales experience strongly preferred.

Passionate about providing exceptional customer service. Committed to understanding clients’ needs and expectations with a strong desire to exceed them.

Professional, positive, outgoing and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up. Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with precision.

Outgoing with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively interface, communicate and build relationships with clients, team members and management. Experience dealing with international customers and ability to communicate in multiple languages desirable.

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Company will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.

POSITION LOCATION AND RELOCTATION ELIGIBILITY:

Retail store-based role in Washington DC metro area. Local, qualified Washington DC metro area candidates will be given preference and priority. Qualified candidates willing to self-relocate to the Washington DC metro area will also be considered.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION:

Full-Time Hourly Range: $24 - $32 / hour (approx. $50,000 - $67,000 annually), commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Sales Commission: 1% commission on all sales with no cap.

Benefits include: Health and Long-Term Disability Insurance, Paid Time Off, 401-K and product discounts.

Working on Saturdays required.
