SQL Developer

A leading software company, is seeking a talented SQL Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop efficient database solutions using MS SQL Server, Oracle, Azure SQL Database, and Synapse Analytics.

Write complex queries using T-SQL, PL/SQL, and other SQL dialects to extract, transform, and load data (ETL).

Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, and triggers to automate database tasks and enforce data integrity.

Collaborate with software engineers and data analysts to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex data issues.

Work with cloud platforms like Azure Databricks and Synapse Analytics to leverage big data processing capabilities.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the database development field.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as an SQL Developer or related role.

Proven experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle, and Azure data platforms.

Expertise in T-SQL, PL/SQL, and other SQL dialects.

Experience with ETL tools and processes (e.g., ADF).

Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e.g., Azure Synapse).

Strong understanding of database design principles, normalization, and data modeling.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Bonus Points:

Experience with Databricks and other big data processing frameworks.

Experience with DevOps practices for database deployments.

Experience with data security best practices.
