The Position

As a Logistics Specialist a Roche in Pharma division, you'll oversee the intricate process of managing the flow of medical supplies from production facilities to distribution centers and ultimately to patients. Your responsibilities include coordinating transportation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, monitoring temperature-sensitive shipments, and optimizing delivery schedules. With your expertise, you play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and timely delivery of life-saving medications, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare systems worldwide.

Responsibilities:

Contract management

Lead the preparation of sales and distribution contracts with 3rd-party partners summarizing all necessary contractual details, monitor and initiate changes if required as well as Due Diligences of potential partners

Forecasting

Lead country-wide sales forecasting, coordinating monthly meetings with key stakeholders and preparing essential data.

Lead discussions with distributors to ensure product supply meets deadlines and complies with tender requirements.

Ensure timely submission of revised forecasts in global systems to optimize production planning.

Sales order management

Manage distributor orders, initiating changes based on stock availability, registration status, and pricing.

Collaborate closely with ODMs and Credit Management to ensure credit limits align with business practices.

Monitor distributor Accounts Receivables and orders within credit limits, while managing sales and logistics expenses and signaling credit note issuances to global colleagues.

Consignment stock replenishment and sales

Act as the primary liaison for logistics providers and stakeholder management while executing regular planning and control over required minimum stock level in bonded warehouse.

Perform cool chain monitoring of arriving goods.

Ensure minimization of short shelf life products and risks of write-offs.

Optimization of processes

As the Kazakhstan affiliate of Roche is working under circumstances that are rapidly changing in terms of business and ways of working, the logistics partner has to lead the implementation of new tools, solutions and propose ideas to keep Roche up to speed in terms of business viability.

Who you are:

University degree in Economics, Business Administration

3+ years working experience in logistics/supply chain

Good knowledge of the pharmaceutical market will be a plus

Good knowledge of SAP (SD, MM, I2P) will be a plus

Good knowledge of MS Office tools is a must

Fluency in the Russian and English languages, Kazakh language is a plus

Analytical thinking: skills and ability to organize and analyze data in order to foresee future trends and development

Customer-centric mindset with adept problem-solving skills to maintain high-level customer service.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration at all levels.

High self-motivation and reliability to drive results.
