Production Supervisor - Injection

Objectives:

Implement and oversee the production strategy as outlined in the 2024 company objectives map, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

Hold primary accountability for achieving production targets, optimizing equipment efficiency (OEE), and controlling expenses related to the injection molding process.

Enforce company policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with statutory, legal, and corporate requirements.

Lead initiatives to promote continuous improvement, particularly in areas of health and safety within the injection molding department.

Provide leadership and strategic direction to ensure the success and efficiency of injection molding operations, in line with the 2024 strategy and objectives map.

Report on production matters promptly and accurately, adhering to prescribed formats.

Actions:

Execute the production strategy established by upper management, focusing on achieving targets and implementing necessary adjustments for growth or realignment.

Coordinate with various departments to optimize customer satisfaction, both internally and externally.

Establish and monitor performance metrics, taking corrective actions when targets are not met.

Ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards to meet sales and gross margin targets.

Manage expenditure within the injection molding department and optimize cash flow through effective working capital controls.

Drive improvements in plant efficiency, waste reduction, and quality assurance practices within the injection molding process.

Uphold legal, statutory, and corporate governance requirements, including the enforcement of policies and procedures.

Maintain health and safety standards within the injection molding department and communicate relevant protocols to all staff.

Implement best practices and facilitate the Kaizen program to foster continuous improvement.

Oversee performance management processes for staff within the injection molding department, linking individual goals to team objectives.

Maintain motivation among staff through fair and consistent enforcement of the code of conduct.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting of production-related matters.

Communicate significant information to relevant stakeholders and acknowledge achievements or issues impacting the business and teams.

Foster communication channels and IT systems to facilitate knowledge sharing and uphold company core values.

Strive for world-class standards in injection molding operations, continuously improving based on Kaizen and QHSE standards.

Utilize performance appraisals for staff development and improvement purposes.

Implement and maintain IT systems and communication channels to ensure access to real-time data.

Enforce policies immediately, while also implementing rewards and recognition initiatives.
