Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

What You Will be DoingWe want people to join our team who share our values of love, excellence, respect, empowerment, and well-being. Under the direction of the Social Work Supervisor, the Licensed Social Worker (LSW) will provide general counseling to residents and their respective families and significant others on an individual or group basis. Provides advocate and direct services for residents at the Supported Living and Immediate Care Facilities at I Am Boundless, Inc.

Minimum Education/Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in social work from an accredited school of social work.

Preferred Education and Experience

Two (2) years of supervised social work experience working directly with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Required Licensure/Certification

Licensed through the State of Ohio as an LSW.

Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid, CPR - adult, child, and infant. (Training will be provided, if not already certified).

Valid Ohio Driver's License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles; proof of auto insurance.

No more than 5 points on license.

Within 60 days of hire, successful completion of the required physical crisis management training(s) and certification(s) applicable to the assigned program.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
