Financial Analyst, SG&A

Overview:

The Financial Analyst is a key role in our growing finance department and will serve as a liaison between finance and the various cross functional groups. This role provides visibility to various levels throughout the organization and will be seen as a business partner to decision makers.

Responsibilities:

Participate in a high energy and fast-paced team environment to provide financial analysis and understand the implications of data and impact on business insights in critical decision-making processes

Communicate financial results and related variances to functional leaders

Prepare monthly financial plans and forecasts using business knowledge and feedback from cross functional partners

Collaborate cross-functionally with leaders across the organization on the execution of various business initiatives

Execute month-end close responsibilities, working alongside accounting to prepare monthly journal entries related to payroll, IT and other SG&A, along with related reconciliations

Support the creation and execution of the annual operating plan, ensuring alignment of business needs and financial goals

Other duties as requested by management

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required

1-3 years accounting or finance experience

Ability to work in a team setting, drive team results and support change management within the organization

Strong quantitative and analytical skills required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a sense of urgency while meeting required time constraints

Trustworthy and able to maintain full confidentiality

Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel ability
