Job Summary

Position: Microbiology Technologist

Type: Permanent Contingent

Shift: 3 PM - 11 PM (Includes Rotating Weekends)

Salary Range: $29.30 - $43/hr (Based on Experience)

Qualifications

Essential: Associate's Degree (Microbiology, Medical Technology, Biomedical Science, Biology, Chemistry)

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree

Experience: Minimum 6 months of microbiology experience

Certification: National Certification as a Microbiology Technologist

License: State license (if required by your state)

What You'll Do - Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct specimen processing, microbiology, serology, and infectious disease testing with precision.

Ensure compliance with department policies and accrediting agency requirements.

Practice preventive maintenance on equipment and adhere to quality control standards.
