To strengthen our team in Tübingen near Stuttgart, we are currently looking to recruit an

IT Infrastructure Engineer (f/m/d)

Your Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive, scalable and resilient infrastructure plans that include hardware, software, network, and security components

Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance and optimize the IT infrastructure

Provide recommendations on technology adoption, ensuring alignment with business objectives

Collaborate with business units and IT teams to understand their requirements and translate them into solutions

Incorporate security best practices into infrastructure designs and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Lead and participate in infrastructure-related projects, ensuring successful and timely completion

Provide technical guidance to project teams and mentorship to junior members of the team

Actively participate in the service request, incident handling, and other operational IT processes to ensure high quality support for the company, including the on-call rotation

Your Qualifications:

University degree in information technology, computer science, a related field or an equivalent qualification

Proven track record supporting enterprise grade IT systems with several years of experience

Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level IT systems and infrastructure

In-depth knowledge of infrastructure design, security protocols, and IT management tools

Experience with cloud and virtualization technologies

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Fluency in English, German skills are a plus
