A Senior Project Manager is responsible for providing leadership, planning, organization, direction, and control of an individual project to meet the operational goals. He/She is responsible for the efficient delivery of the processes without sacrificing the company's commitment to quality, integrity, and profits consistent with the set objectives. A Project Manager, Level I accepts ultimate responsibility for the project's success including quality assurance, safety, financial performance, and Owner satisfaction in addition to the harmonious performance of the project staff.

Reporting and Metrics: Regularly report on project progress, success criteria, and key metrics to stakeholders, and manage testing and deployment activities effectively.

Problem-Solving and Innovation: Encourage a problem-solving mindset within the team, fostering innovation and excellence in project delivery.

Process Improvement: Continuously improve project management practices, tools, and partnerships to enhance organizational capabilities.

Staff Management: Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and support as needed, and conducting performance reviews.

Risk Management: Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues, ensuring they are addressed promptly to minimize impact on project outcomes.

Vendor Management: Participate in vendor selection processes and manage ongoing relationships to ensure successful project delivery.

Quality Control: Implement quality control measures and participate in resolving quality issues as they arise.

Dispute Resolution: Assist in resolving disputes or issues through negotiation, arbitration, or litigation if necessary.

Contract Management: Support the management of engagement contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon schedules and deliverables.

Delegation: Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to appropriate personnel, empowering them to contribute to project success.

Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships with project stakeholders, sponsors, and other relevant parties.
