We are seeking a talented and experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in our engineering projects, providing expert advice and design solutions for a variety of building structures across multiple industries. This is a permanent position with opportunities for professional growth and development. You will work alongside a team of seasoned professionals in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. Responsibilities:

1. Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience.

2. Layout and detail portions of projects using schematic layouts provided by senior engineers.

3. Review and assess existing building construction and condition.

4. Review and analyze contract documents including calculations, drawings, and specifications.

5. Perform seismic risk and property condition assessments.

6. Prepare Property Condition Reports (PCRs) and Physical Condition Assessments (PCAs) for various types of structures.

7. Provide consulting services to clients, advising on best practices, structural safety, and potential design improvements.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in architectural engineering, civil engineering, or structural engineering.

2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building design and construction.

3. Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

4. Proficient in the use of structural engineering software.

5. Experience in preparing Property Condition Reports and Physical Condition Assessments.

6. Proven ability to manage and lead junior engineering staff.

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.

8. Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for innovative thinking and meticulous attention to detail.

9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

10. Knowledge of current industry standards and building codes.
