Cognos/ETL Developer Quantico, VA Top Secret Clearance Major Duties & Responsibilities: • Support Cognos program systems, including installations, configuration, patching, upgrading, and performance tuning for Cognos Analytics application/web servers and IBM InfoSphere/DataStage servers in a DoD environment.

• Lead effort to migrate and/or recreate existing extract, transform, and load (ETL) scripts from Cognos to IBM InfoSphere/DataStage.

• Support validation and testing.

• Provide application security vulnerability mitigation and STIG management for Cognos and IBM software.

• Ensure that all application deliverables and systems comply with applicable DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) or Security Requirements Guides.

• Assist with customer requirements for Cognos Data Modules, Reports and Dashboards.

• Assist with IBM Cognos Security and Administration functions.

• Identify and report system risks.

Qualifications: • 5+ years experience in data warehouse and analytics development using IBM InfoSphere DataStage and Cognos Analytics.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field desired.

• Must be certified at IAT Level II (e.g., Security+, or other certification satisfying DoD 8140 certification requirements). • Cognos Analytics Security and Administration certification a plus.

• Strong knowledge of SQL scripting and data relationships.

• Experience with Cognos Analytics 11+ and IBM InfoSphere, DataStage, and QualityStage.

• Must have experience applying STIGs.

• Experience creating, reviewing, and revising security documentation and artifacts.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows technologies (Server 2019/2022), including Active Directory, server cert management, and IIS (10). • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining IBM Cognos and InfoServer.

• Experience with Oracle 19 databases and SQL scripting.

• Experience in a DoD or law enforcement environment desired.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.

• Able to work independently and with a team.
