PHARMASCIST
We are looking for a retail pharmacist to join our growing team at Be Well Pharmacy in the Cayman Islands.
THE ROLE:
The Pharmacists responsibilities include:
• Reviews, interprets and accurately dispenses prescribed medications in an accurate and timely manner.
• Providing pharmacological information by answering questions and
requests of health care professionals; counselling patients on drug
therapies; including, verification and medication management.
• Providing effective and efficient drug procurement and storage.
Recordkeeping/Inventory Management: Maintains reports for
controlled, outdated and recalled medications.
• Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records.
• Assisting with the company’s stock taking process.
• Assisting with procurement activities.
• Driving retail sales and patient retention.
• Ensures the accurate processing of insurance claims to resolve
patient's issue(s) and prevent payment rejections.
• Providing direct supervision to pharmacy technicians and pharmacy
support personnel ensuring compliance in all areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor of Science Degree or Associate Degree in Pharmacy.
• Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in Pharmacy practice.
• Must be able to obtain registration with the Cayman Islands Pharmacy
Council.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Experience leading a team to achieve the organizational goals.
• Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel.
