Job Description We are looking for a Front-End Developer to join the crew and help us move forward more rapidly.

The primary responsibilities might vary from: (1) develop new user-facing features, (2) build reusable code and libraries for future use, (3) ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, (4) optimize application for maximum speed and scalability, (5) assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end, and (6) collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Experience and skills that are important for success in this role: Expert in HTML, CSS/SCSS, and Javascript Expert in Bootstrap 5 and can also work with other CSS/UI libraries (i.e.

Tailwind CSS). Can demonstrate an understanding of Bootstrap utility classes and SCSS variables/overrides Experienced in a variety of WordPress plugins and integrations such as Advanced Custom Fields Pro, WPML or other multilingual plugins, Yoast SEO (regular/premium), WooCommerce, custom post types and taxonomies, and a solid understanding of page-builders (e.g.

Elementor/Pro, Divi, etc.) Skilled in custom PHP, Laravel, and WordPress backend (using hooks, actions, filters, etc.) Can demonstrate in-depth knowledge of WordPress custom theme and plugin development.

The developer will be expected to show examples of projects with this skill set.

We need to review the plugins list on the websites they demonstrate.

Has knowledge and experience building multilingual websites.

Is comfortable with setting up new Wordpress website, importing content from demo themes, able to troubleshoot issues when they occur.

Developer will need to demonstrate their troubleshooting process when solving Wordpress related issues.

(i.e.

memory, timeout, child theme, etc.) Is aware of Web Accessibility (WCAG 2.0 AA) and can demonstrate that they are comfortable with things like Aria labels and how it affects screen readers, how to check and fix contrast issues, Skip to content, heading level structure, etc.

The developer should be able to work with Git / Bitbucket and pipelines.

Has working knowledge of JS frameworks like React/Vue/Angular as well as NextJS/NuxtJS/Gatsby.

Worked with Firebase and deployed applications there.

Has used jQuery and done various DOM manipulations using it.

Comfortable with building an accessible form with validation messages using jQuery.

Has worked with Docker and Gulp to set up automated tasks and a rapid development workflows.

Nice to have: Developer has setup AWS hosting Has worked with Plesk and setup staging sites in Plesk Has HTML email development knowledge.
