As a High-Rise Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of high-rise construction projects for our well known residential developer out of Toronto, Ontario.

Your expertise will shape iconic skylines and contribute to the realization of architectural marvels.

Responsibilities: 1.

Pre-Construction Coordination Planning and Strategy : Collaborate with senior management to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and communication strategies.

Estimate resource requirements (personnel, materials, equipment) for project execution.

Draft and submit budget proposals, recommending adjustments as needed.

Construction Oversight Budget Management : Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial forecasts.

Ensure adherence to budget constraints while maintaining quality standards.

Scheduling and Progress Tracking : Coordinate project schedules, ensuring timely progress and meeting deadlines.

Implement efficient construction sequences and optimize resource allocation.

Quality Assurance : Oversee quality control processes to maintain high standards throughout construction.

Address any deviations promptly.

Risk Mitigation : Identify potential risks (technical, logistical, regulatory) and develop mitigation strategies.

Proactively manage unforeseen challenges.

Stakeholder Communication : Regularly communicate with clients, contractors, architects, and project teams.

Foster collaborative relationships and resolve any conflicts.

Delivery and Completion Timely Delivery : Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, meeting all requirements and specifications.

Monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed.

Scope Management : Keep the project within the defined scope, making necessary adjustments.

Handle change requests effectively.

Handover and Occupancy : Facilitate a smooth transition from construction to occupancy.

Coordinate final inspections, certifications, and handover to the client.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred). 6+ years' experience managing high-rise construction projects.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
