Description
The MilleniuM Training in Development Institute in Moldova has requested the support of Peace Corps Response Volunteers (PCRVs) to serve as Youth Occupational Curriculum Development Specialists. MilleniuM is focused on the development of the community of Youth Development Facilitators, organizing the annual National Forum of Youth Development Facilitators, trainings for Youth Development Facilitators, and events that contribute to the recognition of Youth Development Facilitators in the Republic of Moldova. MilleniuM will contribute to the effort of the National Youth Agency in the development of the Occupational Standard of Youth Development Facilitators and the elaboration of a National Curriculum on the development of professional skills of Youth Development Facilitators.
The PCRVs will collaborate with MilleniuM on assessing and revising a series of documents in the field of youth policies and, based on the findings, develop an Occupational Curriculum for Youth Development Facilitators and a Competence Development program for Youth Development Facilitators. The PCRVs will also participate in different focus groups or round tables in order to consult with stakeholders, youth workers or young people on the documents to be developed.
Candidates selected for this position will be arriving in Moldova together as a group. While the whole group's departure dates could change, dates cannot be changed for individual candidates.
