Part-time: Monday Friday, 20 hr./wk.

8am to 10am then 2pm to 4pm ARC Industries has openings for friendly, reliable, and professional drivers to join our expanding team.

As a Transportation Professional, you will operate a wheel-chair accessible shuttle vehicle to provide daily scheduled transportation for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, to and from ARCs Active Treatment program.

You will: Adhere to all traffic laws and ensure the safety of all passengers.

Provide an exceptional customer experience to all passengers.

Complete daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report all defects for maintenance.

Operate and ride hydraulic lift and secure passengers wheelchairs and other adaptive equipment.

Assist in the boarding and offboarding of passengers.

Perform daily vehicle cleaning and custodial duties as necessary.

To be a Transportation Professional, you must have: High School Diploma or GED Must be 21 years of age or older Must possess valid Ohio Drivers License Minimum of five years of driving experience Must possess valid Ohio Drivers License Meet and maintain the insurability standards of ARC and our insurance carrier to drive for company business Must pass a BCII/FBI background check, Nurse Aid & Abuser Registry checks Must pass driver physical and drug screen Must be able to operate a wheel-chair accessible shuttle vehicle safely and efficiently Previous experience transporting passengers in accessible vehicles preferred By choosing a career with ARC, youll get the opportunity to improve quality of life and build meaningful relationships with the individuals you work with.
