Job Description

MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST – GENERAL MENTAL HEALTH OFFICE

Ensure that clinical counseling services address the therapeutic treatment needs of all residents who receive treatment at assigned BHRFs to help clients reclaim and maintain their mental, emotional, and physical health, and once again find joy in living.

ACCG promotes and practices a trauma restorative mindset both organizationally and therapeutically. Organizationally we practice a trauma restorative mindset that is a workplace practice of curiosity and openness towards identifying strengths in all individuals with the goal of empowering each to grow in resiliency. Therapeutically we practice innovative, lifespan, restorative, trauma-healing and resiliency-focused therapy. This mindset understands re-traumatization, its impact and works diligently to avoid it.
